Metal Drapery has become popular among architects and designers. Currently many designers use them in hospitality, retail, and restaurant environments. Beads and link chain are used to diffuse light and conserve energy while keeping the view. Light is allowed to flow between the beaded strings illuminating the elegant detail of each beaded curtain, while at the same time drawing the eye upward to witness the dramatic sweep of the light show.

Installation

Global Trends offers a variety of track systems for mounting hardware. However, our beaded draperies are sold pre-installed for ease of usage.

Fabrication

You can customize your bead drapery orders by ordering different sizes and difference fullness of the beads. Below are examples of chain density and possible combinations. Please contact us to discuss your design requirements.

All beaded drapery come assembled by the manufacturer, for ease of installation. Inside the track there is a spring that allows uniform placement of each string. Customer can decrease the fullness by 33% to allow more light transmission. Each string is priced according to the size, diameter, and metal alloy. Aluminum is frequently used due to its light weight characteristic and its lesser price, whereas stainless steel is more suitable for a smaller area that is capable of bearing more weight.
